Underground Explore Of Historic Desert Gold Mine, Aerial Tram, Ore Car, Artifacts and Mountain Hike🔦

For this underground mine explore we start by driving the Jeep as far as we could up a narrow and remote canyon in the mountains of Death Valley. After reaching an impasse we hiked the rest of the way up the canyon until we came to the historic abandoned mine site. Once there we found a very large ore bin and the associated lower tram terminal of an aerial tram. After exploring the ore bin and the mechanical equipment of the tram, we found the steep trail that leads high up the mountain to the mine and to the upper tram terminal. We first explored the underground mine drifts and found some interesting artifacts and workings. We then headed over to the trestle that leads to the tram terminal. The upper tram terminal is very interesting and the equipment to move the tram buckets up and down is all still there.
